Sounds like a silly question, right? I am going to tell you the number of clients that have passed throu.gh my door and they were eating the proper amount of protein for their goals–0. Yes, that is correct. In the past 10 years that I have been coaching and transforming lives, the number of people that consume the correct amount of protein is 0. That is a lot of zeros.
Muscle is responsible for burning calories all day long. The more muscle you have on your body, the more calories you burn all day long. It takes calories to breath, to blink, to digest, to lift your hand to your mouth. The more muscle your bones have on them, the more calories it takes to make your body move. It is truly hard to get in the proper amount of protein you should be taking in.
