This my not qualify as a deep dish, but is has become one of our household’s favorite pizza any day of the week. Scratch to finish is less than 60 minutes. Most of that is baking!!!!! While baking: play games, finish homework, prep for the next day, connect from your day and share stories.
This pizza makes one of those “Why didn’t I think of that moments happen”. So simple and delicious.
Companies have made it much easier to work with difficult vegetables. By difficult, I mean cutting, dicing, slicing etc. Now we have broccoli slaw, riced cauliflower and so much more. My go to for this pizza…riced cauliflower.
Ingredients: (I buy bags of riced cauliflower from Costco
1 bag riced cauliflower thawed
1 clove minded garlic
1 egg
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
Toppings: peppers, spinach, black olives, onions, chicken/tofu/beef/, cheese, tomato base
In a bowl, add thawed riced cauliflower, egg, garlic and Parmesan cheese. Mix and distribute evenly on a pizza stone round. Bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes. When almost crispy, remove and add tomato base and toppings of your choice. Return to oven and bake another 10-15 minutes until done.
Let cool and cut with pizza cutter. Totally enjoy this awesome pizza.
